Cheese and Avocado Sandwich

(8 min.) makes one serving



  • 2 Slices whole wheat bread

  • 2 Slices panela cheese

  • 2 slices American cheese

  • 1/2 Avocado, skinless

  • 1 tsp. Lime juice

  • Salt

Thing You Will Need:

  • Cookie cutters and a zipper storage bag.


  • Place bread slices on a chopping board and cut the sides (crust).

  • Let your child choose the cookie cutter.

  • Cut each slice of bread into the shape your child wishes.

  • Remove the figures and keep the leftovers for another occasion

  • Do the same with the cheeses slices.

  • Place the avocado in a bowl and mash it.

  • Add lemon juice to the mashed avocado and salt it to taste.

  • Spread the avocado on one of the bread figures, add the cheese slices and top with the other bread figure.

  • Wrap it in a colored napkin and place it inside a sealed bag.
