No, all the ingredients printed on the container are the ones used in the product; we do not omit any other ingredients.
How long after I open the container is safe for me to drink the juice?
The expiration date is applicable to perishable products that alter their microbiological qualities such as meats and dairy products. The preferred date indicates to the consumer that the product will only change its sensory qualities, such as taste, smell, color and appearance. Jumex products do not have an expiration date, but rather a preferred consumption date established by laboratory tests, and therefore we recommend that they always be consumed within this period to avoid flavor or textures not characteristic of our products.
Could Nectar be drunk right from the container? Or, do I have to water it first?
Yes, our products are made with natural fruit and were created for you to consume them right from the container. There is no need to water down the juices or nectars unless you feel that the product needs it.
What is the difference between Nectar and Juice?
The difference is in the amount of added or natural sugar and the manufacturing process, while a juice is the liquid that you squeeze directly from the fruit and it is 100% natural. The nectar is also thicker than the juice, but in both cases you can drink them directly from the container.

I am diabetic. Is it safe for me to drink your juices?
A person who has been diagnosed with diabetes must have a strict control of the food they eat because their blood sugar level will be affected entirely by their intake. The type of food and the daily amounts allowed for consumption must be indicated directly by the attending physician; since they will be indicated based on the type of diabetes, age, weight, physical activity, consumption of medications and other factors that the specialist will determine.
Is there any caffeine in your products?
None of our products have any caffeine added. And according with the FDA, all products with caffeine added most be indicated on the container. All the ingredients used in the product are specified on the container.
Where should I deposit your cardboard container to be recycled?
You can deposit the cardboard container among the cardboard recycling.
Why do you add so much sugar in your juices?
All juices and nectars contain sugar since fruits naturally contain sugar. Additionally, all the nectars and juices are added sweeteners in their preparation because water is added and that can cause the loss of the natural sweet taste of the fruit.
Does the corn syrup cause cancer?
Indeed, some of our products contain high fructose corn syrup and some others sucralose.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States of America has indicated that it has no evidence that there is any difference between foods and beverages containing high-fructose corn syrup and those with similar amounts of other nutritive sweeteners, with an approximately equal content of glucose and fructose as sucrose, honey and other traditional sweeteners. The 2015-2020 Food Guide for Americans, in which the FDA itself participated, recommends that everyone should limit their consumption of added sugars, including high-fructose corn syrups and sucrose, without distinction.
On the other hand, sucralose has been approved to be used as a non-nutritive sweetener for general use since 1999 by the FDA. For approval, the FDA reviewed more than 110 studies that analyzed the safety of its consumption. Sucralose has been extensively studied, with no evidence found that it poses any health risk. The fruit concentrate is processed in the “Concentradores Mexico” plant, and the origin of the Guava fruit is from Aguascalientes (Calvillo).
